Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to provide in person contract services for our growing practice in Fairbanks, AK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and clinical counseling, with a passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health symptoms. We are looking for contractors who have a passion for working with individuals, children, families and couples. The ideal candidate would be proficient in EMDR, play therapy, Brainspotting or other bottom up modality. Therapists are contractors and are not employees of our practice. Allow yourself to focus on clinical care in a bright new office while receiving administrative support. Choose your own hours. Enjoy support of peers while working independently. We will provide you with an EHR, billing, credentialing, furnished office and fabulous company.

Responsibilities - Using your own clinical judgment:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques.

• Facilitate individual, family and group therapy sessions focused on various issues such as traumatic stress, depression and anxiety.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

• Experience in behavioral health settings with a focus on clinical counseling and mental health counseling.

• Trauma informed approach, skills and experience.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Must provide computer, professional liability insurance and HIPAA compliant email.
